Well, not entirely wordless. I had to share this exceptional recipe with you. Remember the frosting I mentioned in the Tiramisu Bread post, which is basically to die for. Here it is: all of 3 ingredients and you have made yourself the best frosting ever.
Kahlúa Mascarpone FrostingRecipe: A Baker Street Original
6 oz Mascarpone, softened
1/4 cup Kahlúa
11/2 cups Confectioners Sugar
In a medium bowl, combine the mascarpone and sugar and beat until smooth. Add the Kahlúa and beat at medium speed until slightly fluffy.

I make kahlua glaze but never tried with mascarpone. My next cake will have this! Good that you didn´t follow the rules and talked!
Tq so much for this simple recipe. I sort of am lost whenever I need to top the cakes (which is like once a moon) and I am going to try this frosting. Have some baking in mind to do, I think this will be perfect for my next round of baking, the cupcakes.
That photo makes me forget that I don’t like kahlua and just cries out to me “lick the whiiisk” :P

This sounds delicious. I quite often add kahlua as an ingredient when baking. Never would have thought of adding it to my frosting. I guess I’d better stock up!

YUUM! I’ve used amaretto liquor for mascarpone. This is a delicious idea and sounds yummy for summer! I am so hungry! I have a major sweet tooth! lol! :)
